As the Student Government Association (SGA), we are here to:
- Respond to and resolve issues or concerns expressed by the student body.
- Support student feedback.
- Act as a liaison between the students and the administration.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of conditions conducive to student success, student learning, and an enriched extracurricular environment.
- Act on matters which promote the general welfare of the student body.
- Ensure Student Activity and Service fees are allocated and used to support the extracurricular and co-curricular interests of the student body as a whole.

SGA Executive Officers
Jullion grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Atlantic Coast High School before enrolling at TCC. He is a member of Black Male Achievers and Black Student Union. He previously served as the Senator for Information Technology. When he graduates in the spring of 2024, Jullion plans to transfer to FAMU to major in broadcast journalism and public relations.
A native of Miami, Florida, Brandon "Ken" Brown graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School (2020). He started TCC in the fall of 2022 and quickly became active on campus. Ken currently serves as TCC's first Mister Tallahassee Community College and is a Black Male Achievers, Men of Color Collective, Black Student Union, and The Gardening Club member. He is also a Work Study student for the Office of Communications and Marketing. After earning an AA degree at TCC, Ken plans to transfer to FAMU to major in broadcast journalism.
Rafa Marquiori Naves
Rafa was born in Araraquara, Brazil, before moving to Winter Garden, Florida where she graduated from West Orange High School (2022). She began her TCC journey in the fall of 2022 where she became an active member of the National Society for Leadership and Success. After earning her AA degree from TCC in the spring of 2024, she plans to transfer to Florida State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Tallahassee native and Crawfordville resident Aenon graduated from Wakulla High School (2022) and immediately enrolled at TCC. He has been a part of many activities around campus, including his performance as Prentis in the Theatre TCC! production of Peter and the Star Catcher. Prior to being elected Treasurer, Aenon was the Senator for Academic Affairs. After receiving his AA degree from TCC, Aenon plans to transfer to Florida State University.
Speaker of the Senate
Angelina was adopted from Guatemala, but she was raised in the small town of Melbourne Beach, Florida. She graduated from Satellite High School (2022) where she participated in their fine arts academy. She is currently a sophomore and plans to transfer to the University of Florida after completing her AA degree from TCC. Once Angelina transfers, she plans to major in criminology/criminal justice.
Tallahassee native and first-generation American Isabella Rios started her TCC journey as an extern in the Office of Communications and Marketing, where she now works as a Marketing Assistant. She is in Aspire Honors and plans to transfer to Florida State after earning her AA. She is a graduate of Chiles High School (2023) where she was a member of the color guard. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, and supporting local businesses.
Destinee Britto is a 2023 graduate of the James S. Rickards High School IB Program. She was born in Trinidad and Tobago but moved to Tallahassee in 2021. Destinee is a first-year student at TCC with the Aspire program. She plans to transfer to FSU to major in Sports Medicine and Pre-Law. Destinee is a member of Sister to Sister, and she is a peer leader on TCC’s campus. In high school, Destinee was involved in many different activities, she was the Senior Class President, athletic trainer, and manager for multiple sports. Destinee enjoys meeting new people and getting involved in different spaces.
Widens was born in Haiti and grew up in the city of Palm Beach, Florida. After graduating from Glades Central High School with the class of 2022, he embarked on a journey toward a bright future. In the fall of 2022, he enrolled at TCC to pursue his passion for computer science. He is an active member of the Black Male Achievers and Men of Color Collective organizations. After receiving his AA degree at TCC, he plans to pursue his bachelor's degree in computer science at Florida State University or the University of Florida.
Mordecai is from Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Tallahassee a few years ago. He was a student at the Florida Virtual High School before graduating in 2022. He is currently a sophomore and participates as an active member of the STEM club, Black Male Achievers, the Honors Program, and serves as a peer leader. He plans to stay here at TCC after receiving his AA to pursue his bachelor’s degree in our four-year nursing program.
Florida College System SGA
The Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA) represents the nearly one million students enrolled in the Florida College System's 28 colleges. The organization promotes legislative advocacy and training, leadership development, service learning, promotion of campus activities, and strong citizenship.
To unify the member colleges in order to best attend to the appropriate concerns of the students of the Florida College System and serve as a vehicle to communicate these concerns to the Florida Legislature.
